The Quitter Manual Finding Rest in a World Gone Berserk edition by Jeremy Mangerchine Religion Spirituality eBooks
I was initially intrigued by the title, The Quitter's Manual: Finding Rest in a World Gone Berserk, and I assumed the book would talk about how to quit our digital habits. In part, it did start on that note, but where the author went from there caught me by surprise and a pleasant one at that. The author begins the book with his testimony of how God used his extremely high blood pressure to get his attention and teach him how to rest. We tend to think of rest as taking a break, a day off, or a vacation, but genuine rest can be found in the midst of stress and chaos. It’s more than unplugging or getting away from it all.
The book is generally well-written and enjoyable to read. The author provides a unique perspective based on personal experience. I would like to have seen more Scripture throughout the text to support his experiences. His testimony was believable, but Scripture would have strengthened his points.

The Quitter Manual Finding Rest in a World Gone Berserk edition by Jeremy Mangerchine Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
These are the words to describe "entering His rest" that I've been searching for.
Such a refreshing and delightful confirmation of God's love! You won't want to put the down
This is the same thing "Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj" used to talk about quietening the mind, for which I did not understand him clearly. But Jeremy explains this crystal clear and I needed to read "The Longest Bridge Across Water An Ordinary Man's Encounters with an Unordinary God"
by the same authord
This book was excellent. Easy to read. Simple, yet profound truths. A must read. I've already recommended it to several friends and family members.
This is outstanding. Would that more leaders would talk about the need for rest from a pro-active perspective, rather than as a fix to burned out people. And he's not just theoretical, he's practical.
I'm coming to the conclusion that Jeremy Mangerchine is one of the voices I'll be listening to for quite a while.
Thanks, Jeremy.
Do Be! We work from a place of God's Holy Spirit resting in us. Our Messiah's last words on the cross were, "It is finished." Everything needed to defeat Satan, sin and death and for us to walk in victory over them was accomplished at Calvary. We need to quit striving, find out who it is that lives in us and let our precious Lord live his life out through us. This was an awesome book, which I highly recommend.
I know so many men and women who are so stressed out and worried, sometimes about such trivial things, but stress has become their lifestyle. Living in such a busy competitive world forces most people into places and jobs they really don't want but feel they need to do to reach their goals. Now there is an alternative available, operating from God's Rest. Don't know what it is or how to obtain it? Jeremy will show you, just as God showed him. An excellent book, written from experience and I believe is totally true. Like all Jeremy's other books, this one will change you life forever!
Have I got a deal for you. God has been speaking a lot to me about REST and securing my identity in Him. Today, out of the blue, an ad for this book surfaced on my FB. It is on sale......for 99 cents. I've read most of if already and LOVE it. I know this will be a book I reread as a reminder. It is short, fast moving and full of VERY simple and easy to apply principles that will impact our lives forever. It is TIME for us to grasp the principles of this book. If we are to do exploits with Him, it's time we got to KNOW Him and Rest in who He is IN us.
